PeakPawsTag ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PeakPawsTag website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). (a) Create an account (name, email address, phone number, password or third-party authentication credentials); (b) Create or update a pet profile (pet name, breed, species, age, weight, color, photographs, microchip number, distinguishing features); (c) Enter medical and health information (vaccination records, medical conditions, allergies, medications, veterinary information); (d) Provide contact and emergency information (phone numbers, addresses, emergency contacts, veterinarian contact details); (e) Activate or register a QR code tag; (f) Make a purchase or payment; (g) Communicate with us via email, chat, or other channels; (h) Participate in surveys, promotions, or other interactive features.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect:

(a) Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser type); (b) Log data (IP address, access times, pages viewed, referring URL, clickstream data); (c) Location data (approximate geographic location based on IP address; precise location if you grant permission); (d) Usage data (features used, actions taken, frequency and duration of activities); (e) Cookies and similar tracking technologies (session cookies, persistent cookies, web beacons, pixel tags).

3.1 Public Profile Information

Information you designate as public in your pet's profile (such as pet name, photograph, breed, and your preferred contact method) will be visible to anyone who scans your pet's QR code tag. You control what information is displayed publicly through your profile settings.

3.2 Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, and agents who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting, customer service, and marketing.

3.3 Business Transfers

In connection with any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, or transfer of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred or disclosed as part of such transaction. We may also share information during negotiations of such transactions.

3.4 Affiliates and Partners

8.2 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Please note that upon deletion, any active QR code tags associated with your account will be deactivated and will no longer display pet profile information when scanned.

Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, including the State of North Carolina, and other jurisdictions as described in this Privacy Policy.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. The Service does not currently respond to DNT signals. We may still collect and use your browsing data as described in this Privacy Policy.
